Tag a Veteran giveaway: official rules
The short version
Tag a veteran you know in the comments of our giveaway posts on TikTok (@vaclaimmentor).
On December 20, 2026, the veteran tagged by the most different people wins the self-paced video guide, free.
Tagging the same veteran again doesn't add to their count. Getting more people to tag them does.
Free to enter. US residents, 18 and older.
No purchase necessary. Buying anything won't help you win. Void where prohibited.
1. Who runs it
The Tag a Veteran giveaway is run by LOUJSWZ Inc., a Florida corporation that operates VA Claim Mentor, 6004 Blakeford Dr, Windermere, FL 34786. Questions go to office@loujswz.com .
2. Dates
The giveaway starts November 3, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time and ends December 20, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Comments posted after the end don't count.
3. Who can enter
You can enter if you're 18 or older, live in the 50 United States or Washington, D.C., and have a TikTok account. Louis Schwartz, anyone who works on VA Claim Mentor, and their immediate families and households can't enter or win.
4. Who can win
The prize goes to a veteran who was tagged, not to the person who tagged them. To win, the tagged person has to be a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, 18 or older, living in the 50 United States or Washington, D.C., and the owner of the TikTok account that was tagged. They confirm this in writing before getting the prize.
5. How to enter
During the giveaway dates, post a comment on one of our giveaway posts that tags (@mentions) the TikTok account of a veteran you know.
Giveaway posts are the posts on the VA Claim Mentor TikTok account (@vaclaimmentor) that say they're part of the Tag a Veteran giveaway, including when they run as ads.
We also ask you to follow @vaclaimmentor and like the post. It helps us reach more veterans, but it isn't required, and we don't check it.
Each account counts once per veteran. Tagging the same veteran again, in any comment on any giveaway post, doesn't add to their count.
You can tag more than one veteran.
Tagging yourself doesn't count, and a veteran's own comments don't count toward their own total.
Entering is free. You don't have to buy anything or sign up on our website.
6. How the winner is picked
After the giveaway ends, we count, for each tagged account, how many different TikTok accounts tagged it in comments on giveaway posts during the giveaway dates.
The tagged account with the highest count is the potential winner.
If two or more are tied, we pick the potential winner by random drawing among them.
Your chance of winning depends on how many different people tag the veteran you tagged.
These tags aren't counted: comments TikTok has removed or hidden before we count;
comments from accounts TikTok has removed or suspended;
comments we removed under section 9;
comments from accounts we reasonably believe are fake or automated, or are part of an attempt to inflate a count (for example, many new accounts with no other activity tagging the same person).
If we leave out any tags for these reasons, we'll say how many and why when we announce the winner.
7. The prize
One prize: a gift code for one year of access to the VA Claim Mentor self-paced video guide (12 video sessions plus the worksheets). Approximate retail value: $350.
The gift code never expires, and the year of access starts the day it's redeemed.
The prize can't be exchanged for cash. If the winner already owns the guide, they can choose to get the gift code to give to another veteran.
The winner is responsible for any taxes.
The guide is education only. It doesn't include a review of anyone's claim or representation, and no outcome is guaranteed.
8. Announcing and contacting the winner
By December 23, 2026, we'll announce the potential winner by TikTok username on @vaclaimmentor and send them a direct message on TikTok.
They have 7 days from that message to reply with an email address and a written confirmation that they meet section 4.
If they don't reply in time, or don't qualify, the prize goes to the next-highest count, using the same tie rule, until a winner qualifies.
We'll post the winner's TikTok username on this page by December 31, 2026.
9. Comment rules
Comments have to follow TikTok's Community Guidelines. Don't post anyone's claim details, rating or personal information. We may remove comments that are abusive, spam, or share someone's private information. Tagging someone shows their username publicly, so only tag people you think would welcome it.
10. TikTok
This giveaway isn't sponsored, endorsed or run by TikTok, and isn't connected to TikTok in any way. By entering, you release TikTok from any responsibility for the giveaway.
11. Privacy
We use the winner's TikTok username and email address only to confirm they qualify and to send the prize. We post the winner's TikTok username when we announce it. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
12. The fine print
By entering, you agree to these rules.
Our decisions on counting and eligibility, made under these rules, are final.
If something outside our control, such as TikTok removing a post or changing how comments work, stops the giveaway from running as described, we'll count the eligible comments we can see at that point and post a notice on this page.
Florida law governs these rules.
